When did you start scrapbooking? Who/how did you get interested in it?
I actually created my first scrapbook in 8th grade as a homework assignment for a school trip to Washington, D.C. It wasn't until January 2005 until I became hooked, though. My mom bought me one of those huge stacks of paper, and I was really determined to use it. So I started looking up scrapbooking websites, found Two Peas, and the rest is history.
Do you try to record every moment or just special ones?
I try to record as many moments as I can, but it depends whatever story I'm inspired to tell at a particular moment. There are some moments that I keep meaning to scrapbook, but I never get around to them.
What is your favorite part about the creative process?
The playing and putting the whole project together. I love putting papers and embellishments together, cutting things up, getting dirty, and making a mess.
What color combo do you love to use lately?
Well, it seems like I used turquoise and red a lot on these layouts!
Where does most of your inspiration come from?
Anything and everything....it all depends. I can be inspired by anything from print media, fashion, nature, other scrappers, products I use every day, scrapbook products themselves, a photo, a story, a song, a movie.....
What is your most favorite thing in or about scrapbooking right now?
I'm all about clustering, grids, and using a million tiny photos.
Which Elle's Studio product was your favorite to work with? Any product a must have?
I loooooooove the chic journaling tags!!
